An excuse for children not to study and path for parents to fulfill dreams they could not archive themselves. What they missed to see is they had extraordinary skills.

The 90s kids were raised under pressure to study and raced in the class then board exams. They studied hard in the aspiration to live an extraordinary life. They dreamt of what they felt like luxury and lifestyle better than they lived in childhood. But most of them experienced ordinary adulthood. The twist comes to their life with new hope, yes, the child. They leave no stone unturned, some google gurus find their way in child psychology and others are spotted by private business-oriented schools. Urge to reach unreachable and concern of the future made them 21st century ‘New aged parents’.
Children struggling to do studies for various reasons mention these examples as an excuse. Parents also offer relaxation rather than channelizing them in the right direction. What they believed for years sprouts again. Parents start looking for alternatives to focus, dedication, and understanding. Why not, they did most of these activities for fun and they have seen easy fame and quick money in sports, arts, performing arts. Something changed but choosing what is right for children remained unconditional truth. The pressure on children has not gone away, the weight has just changed. Without realizing, the ambition of parents turns into the goal of many children. Obviously, the push is always needed to go the extra mile. What we push for makes the difference.
